The Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal – Dhaka University  (commonly known as DU Chhatra Dal) is a branch of the Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), which functions as the student wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). The organization is dedicated to safeguarding the rights of students at the University of Dhaka, upholding the principles of democracy and nationalism, and maintaining a democratic environment on campus.

DU Chhatra Dal plays an active role in promoting political and social awareness among students, grounded in the spirit of the Liberation War and the ideals of multi-party democracy. Its key objectives include raising awareness against academic and administrative corruption, advocating for reforms in the education system, ensuring freedom of expression on campus, and standing up for the legitimate demands of students.

In recent times, Chhatra Dal has organized various movements against authoritarian governance, the imposition of one-party dominance, and the deterioration of a neutral and fair academic environment. The organization has consistently championed students’ democratic rights, freedom of speech, and justice on campus.
